As a matter of fact, Muehlenbeckia is a groundcover plant. The plant grows no taller than 3 to 5 cm. In July it produces small white inconspicuous flowers.
Muehlenbeckia can also be planted in full soil: as a decorative flowerbed or ground cover. It may also be planted in combination with bulbous plants (tulips, daffodils) flowering in spring.
However Muehlenbeckia also flourishes in terrace pots or suspended pots. Here too, combinations with other ornamental plants are possible, for instance combinations with garden bed plants or balcony plants.
Also in your garden or on your terrace Muehlenbeckia may be exposed to plenty of sun. Make sure that the potting soil does not dry out!
